FlameBlock Lithium Black (FLB) is a complex, nano-technology-based mixture formulated to interrupt the cascading oxidative degradation process of lithium-ion battery fires. It works by addressing all three sides of the fire triangle: providing a built-in cooling effect, quenching free radicals with powerful anti-oxidants, and forming a physical layer that smothers the fire and cuts off oxygen. This gel-like agent is environmentally safe, degradable, and effective at preventing re-ignition by keeping final temperatures significantly below 100°C
